You know what happens when you gush too much? You die. Though generally that applies to bleeding, I think it can also apply to other scenarios…
Just saying…
“God is my shepherd, I won’t be wanting…”
Once again the word of God brings me reminders that He will truly sustain and provide for me, even when I don’t know how I will get through even this next term. I don’t know how I found myself here, but I am completely at His mercy. I am completely dependent, and realize now that I will always be that way in some sense. I cannot be my own person because I am HIS. Maybe the reason I am forced to depend on Him in certain areas in my life is because I have not willingly done so when I could have.
“Come, let us return to the LORD.
He has torn us to pieces
but he will heal us;
he has injured us
but he will bind up our wounds” Hosea 6:1
He does so in little ways and in big ways, so that we can trust Him in ALL ways.
